Produced by Fox Network Group and backed by StudioCanal Urban Myth Films, the drama has been conceptualized by a team of writer Howard Overman and director Gilles Coulier and Richard Clark.

The sci-fi visualized futuristic drama has run down for one season consisting of 8 episodes that premiered in France on Oct 28, 2019, and then in the UK and U.S. later, announced its renewal for a second season.

Premise

The series takes place in present-day Europe, but it serves as a re-imagining of the classic H. G. Wells’ that follows survivors forced to team up as an apocalyptic extra-terrestrial inclusion hits our world.

The majority of the original cast are stated to be restored for this installment if not in the entirety. Recurring in the main leads will be Gabriel Byrne ( Backen), Daisy Edgar Jones ( Normal People), Natasha Little (Night Manager). Others include Aaron HeffernanLittle and Solo: A Star Wars Story), Lea Ducker, Stephane Caillard, Adel Bencherif, Ty Tenant, and many more faces are set to appear apart from Elizabeth McGovern whose character has been listed off the show after S1.

When can we get the Release date?

Like many shows, this too has fallen behind its planned schedule due to the ongoing pandemic but the shooting was done with a minimal no. of people through few scenes being processed at a time, says the producer.
