The release of the mystery drama series is 11 December this year. All the eight episodes are expected to be released at once.
The Mess You Leave Behind is about Raquel, who tries to give her marriage a second chance and ends up returning to her birthplace in Spain, Galicia. She then takes on a substitute teaching role at one of the local schools when she returns. She soon learns, however, that she took over the job from a woman named Elvira who died of suicide.

The Arde Madrid actress; Inma Cuesta plays the lead role as Raquel. She is accompanied by Magical Girl actress Barbara Lennie as Elvira, Tamar Novas as German and Elites Aron Piper as Lago. The Impatient Alchemist actor Roberto Enriquez is seen playing Mauro.

The Mess You Leave Behind: Plot
Raquel, who has gets married again, tries to keep the relationship happy. She moves to Spain, the birthplace of Galicia. She joins as a substitute for Elvira in one of the local schools. Elvira was also a teacher of the local school who committed suicide.
A few days later, Raquel notices that something is unusual with the deceased. The author has also co-written the second season and will be scripting and directing the third season.
This drama series is the first of its kind that has been entirely shot in Spain.
