Gentefied Season 2 Update: The comedy-drama series ‘Genetified’ has been renewed for the next season. The American comedy streaming television series was created by Marvin Lemus and Linda Yvette Chawer. ‘Genetified’ has even topped the list of most loved Netflix series.
The super climax of season 1 is the only reason why we will witness the second season soon. The first season of the series was premiered on 1 February on Netflix.
The comedy-drama is brought by the streaming giant Netflix and produced by Eileen Dragovan with MARCO as the production company.
The series is famous because of the hard work of its stars, which includes stars like- Joaquin Cosio, J.J Soria, Karrie Martin, Greg Ellis, Julissa Calderon, Jaime Alvarez, Al Patino, Brenda Banda, Michele Ortiz, and Carlos Santos.

‘Genetified’ is based on the story of 3 Mexican-American cousins. They chase their dream to find their own new place in the world. While searching for their own corner, the 3 are at the stake of danger. The most valuable and loved things for the 3 cousins fall under danger, which includes their grandfather’s Taco shop too.
Now as season 1 ends with all the struggles and problems faced by the 3 cousins, season 2 will be about how the 3 cousins stand together to overcome such hardship in life. The season will even show the way through which they will save their grandfather’s Taco shop.
With this, the fans have been already gifted with season 2. It is expected that the season of Genetified will be more interesting to watch.
Netflix officially declared that there will be a season 2 for the series. Well, it has been a while since the renewal, the renewal was done on 1 May 2020.
A report from Productionweekly suggests that the filming and production will begin from 8 February 2021. But it is likely that the dates may shift because of the covid-19 pandemic.
With the strict measures to follow, it becomes quite difficult for the production units to film the series. The series includes close contacts but the safety measures are followed by social distancing. So it is quite unclear about the schedule.
With the production beginning in the 1st quarter of 2021, is expected to witness the new season is around late 2021. Still, no fixed schedule has been provided by the production unit.
