Cobra Kai Season 3 Updates: Cobra kai is an American martial arts comedy-drama streaming television series. The series is based on the karate kid filming series. The good news is that the co-creator of the series Jon Hurwitz has opened up that the writers are in the thought process to bring back the next Karate Kid’s Julie Pierce (Hillary Swank).

Swank starred in the 1994’s ‘The Next Karate Kid’. The film was not about Daniel Larusso and Jiohnny Lawrence, but it is expected that Morita’s role will be the main role in Cobra Kai.

What made Cobra Kai such a popular series?

The first 2 seasons of the series aired on youtube. Later on, the airing was done on the streaming giant Netflix. Its move to Netflix has made it to achieve such a high image.

One more reason behind the popularity of the series is the returning of past karate kids’ actors. Like Macchio as Larusso and William Zabka as Lawrence, have already returned to reprise their old roles.

Along with this, the other students from Cobra Kai Dojo like, John Kreese (Martin Kove) and Lucille (Randee Heller) have been on their old reprise.

The show creator has said, “In our writer’s room we speak about literally every character that has appeared in the Miyagi-Verse”. With a recent interview with Cinemablend, the creator of the series said “So it’s obvious that we’ve spoken about Julie Pierce. As to whether or not she’ll return to the series, that’s something you’ll just have to wait to find out.”

With Mr. Miyagi’s character as the heart of the story, it is a good decision to bring back the characters from Morita’s karate kid movies.

Cobra Kai Season 3 Releases and updates

Considering the future plans of the series, the series has been already renewed for another season that is season 4. The fans will be happy to know that the series will be regular in adding more characters from the past movies like the karate kid.

Talking about the release of season 3, there is no fixed date yet, but yes it is likely that season 3 will be released on the streaming giant Netflix in January 2021. Till then, fans can go for the official trailer which was released recently by Netflix.
