Outline of the Plot

“I imagine it’s going to take some time getting used to. You just got to get yourself back out there.” Vivian is seen welcoming Eddie.

Palmer’s attempt at a quiet life away from the whispers of his small town is interrupted when his new neighbor passes out over a carousal and Eddie is seen comforting her bullied 7-year-old son, Sam after a rough day.

“Listen to me, son. Kids are mean,” Palmer tells Sam after he’s bullied. “Especially when they see something that they ain’t used to seeing.”

The duo though not in close connection but soon develops an unlikely bond over being made to feel different as Palmer falls for Sam’s teacher “The truth is, I haven’t felt like I was good at anything until Sam,” Eddie says in a tribunal in one of the final scenes in the trailer.

“I can’t abandon that boy. I will not abandon that boy.” But this frothiness does not last for long as he is continually haunted by his past.
