Actor Sam Heughan from the show, who portrays the character of Jamie Fraser has many times hinted that more time travelers can arrive in the next season. Also, it is reported that Geillis Duncan could make a return. He was killed on the show by Claire by throwing an axe at her when she thought of sacrificing Young Ian so she could travel back to present-day Scotland.
When it looks like there is no possible way for Geillis to come in the show again, Speculations suggest that there is a chance she could make another appearance.
When asked the same to Geillis, she said “At my table, also very detailed people tell me, ‘This is when she comes back, this is where this is how it looks. She further said that she is ready for it and anything is possible.
The plot may be about Geillis trying to take revenge or to harm Brianna again, to which she said that everything is possible with a time travel piece. When she comes back, it would obviously leave Claire shaken. Even Ian will be alarmed by Geillis’ return as she had attempted to use him as a sacrifice in Outlander Season 6.
Sam said “We have scenes, we have characters, we have things in the books we haven’t covered. “We can call back on stuff. We have seen there are other time travelers out there. “It feels as though the universe is opening up a bit more for us to draw upon, as well for the writers.”
