Miley Cyrus: The A leakage of her as a teenager smoking a bong in 2010. She jokingly shared the controversial video on her IG account and also added a cheeky caption to it.

On 13 December, the 28-year-old actress posted the famous 10-year-old leaked video of herself in which she was smoking a bong and remembers the incident. She captioned, “Happy 10 year anniversary to the groundbreaking video of a teenager smoking a bong & saying dumb sh*t to their friends,” she wrote in the caption of the post.

“(Not sure the director of this fine film should be considered a “friend” but…) ????????? Time really flew by.

She also included some hashtags to the post like, “#YesItWasReallySalvia” and “#IfYouFindWeedThatDoesThisToYouSHARE.”

The clip which later becomes a huge controversy was first leaked by TMZ in 2010 in which the singer was seen smoking from the bong with a group of people. She laughingly says, “OK, I’m about to lose it now” in the video clip.

The actress had also interest in singing and dancing since childhood and she had played a memorable role on the Disney show, Montana, from 2006-2011.

So, when the smoking video surfaced, people were shocked and surprised by such behavior of Miley. The incident made a lot of headlines and many media reports doubted that she would be soon ruining her career.

The video was basically shot in California and at that time use of marijuana was illegal. But Miley consumed salvia which is a hallucinogenic herb and that was legal in many states including California.

Though her experience couldn’t stop her from admitting to smoking marijuana as it was later on legalized in California for recreational purposes in 2016. She told that marijuana was the best drug available on Earth in 2013.

Though her career was written off by many of the media reports after the video controversy, she had proved them wrong as she is one of the successful stars who have worked in numerous television series and films, had released 7 studio albums, and also proved that she can achieve everything she wants to in her life.

Just not the controversy, but she is also known for her talent and hard work and is an inspirational figure among many.
