Matt Healy: As FKA Twigs has claimed sexual battery and abuse allegations against Shia LaBeouf in a lawsuit, her BF Matt Healy is all praise about his girlfriend, call her legend.

The 32-year-old English singer-songwriter filed a lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend on Saturday in which she claimed that Shia has assaulted her sexually and emotionally in the relationship. The lyricist and rhythm guitarist Matthew Healy of The 1975 band is currently the BF of FKA Twigs and praised her for the gutsy move.

He took to Instagram to share a smiling photo of FKA Twigs and captioned it “Legend, Icon, LOML [love of my life],” along with several colorful emojis of flowers, hearts, stars, rainbows, etc.

FKA Twigs was in a relationship with Shia for almost a year in 2018 and 2019. The lawsuit she filed reads the incident from early 2019 where she claims that she was assaulted by Shia during a road trip home from the desert.

She alleged that Shia forced her to profess her love to him and blackmailed her that if she doesn’t do she, he will crash the car in which they were traveling. The allegations include that she was emotionally, sexually, and physically assaulted by Shia during the relationship. The above car incident is just one of the many allegations made by FKA Twigs in the court document.

Shia responded about the lawsuit via email to The New York Times, “I’m not in any position to tell anyone how my behavior made them feel. I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations.

I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years and I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt and there is nothing else I can really say.” Image Source: Hollywood Life

He also stated that many of the allegations are false through a separate email. He explained that he is a member of 12 step program for the treatment of his PTSD and alcoholism and he is sorry to all those people that he may have hurt over the years.

FKA Twigs officially announced her romantic affair with Matt Healy in February 2020 via Instagram. After the filing of a lawsuit, she has been receiving support from her fans and followers and especially from his love.

She tweeted, “Thank you, everyone, for your love and solidarity,” on the 13th of December to show her gratitude for the support she is receiving. She also stated that she wants to help those who feel alone and are worried about their abusive relationship as she feels it’s very hard to come out of such situations and she now has the experience to handle such tricky situations.
