With The Walking Dead: The World Beyond only gets two seasons, there is a certain economy expected to tell the story. There is no chance of dragging anything past a few episodes, very large exposures tend to be faster and arcs of characters tend to bend much faster than they might in other programs with many hours of filling and plenty of long stories.
As such, there are a lot of things that changed during the last two episode event to get you down. Here is what happens after the final episode of The Walking Dead: World Beyond season 1.
Prove Huck’s transformation, from a trusted friend to an opponent in an hour and a half or screen time. The show does not waste any time revealing it, although there is a light on the cover story of its cover that it is very tight in long-term performance.

Image Source: ForbesWhen Huck starts to turn around, he turns quickly, and no attempt to hide (or Hope’s crippled attempts to play with him) can change the fact that something was wrong with Huck for a while.
Her story begins to fall apart when she first started working for Iris instead of focusing on Hope. Iris, who was recently strangled by Percy, naturally blames Huck when he suddenly wants to be friends and pushes leaving Felix behind there before they have a group that lives together.
As it turns out, Huck’s background story may or may not be true, but the way he ended up in Omaha before joining Campus Colony was probably not fake. Huck AKA Jennifer is the daughter Elizabeth mentioned in the first episode, and she was sent on a secret campaign to get inside Campus Colony by her mother. So all the resources Elizabeth is willing to use to ensure that her daughter’s goal comes out successfully.
Elton proves, without any doubt, that Silas could be great, but he has no sense of violence when Tony is found with his headshot in the wrist. That’s just the cover. The badly injured Percy revealed to Elton in a good sequence in the final game of the season that Huck, not Silas, is the man responsible for Tony’s death.
I hope Elton had already found that out when he saw the small bullet wound in Percy, but it’s good to be sure. Huck was trying to delay the group’s arrival in Ithaca to work for Hope to travel voluntarily, and two friendly grifters reached the deuce and half were not part of the program.
