P-Valley Updates: P- Valley is a crime drama television series created by Katori Hall. The idea of the show is inspired by Halls’s play, P*ussy Valley. Season 1 premiere on Starz on July 12 2020 and is renewed for a second season.

The show got very positive reviews. It has a 6.7/10 rating on IMDb and a 100% rating on Rotten tomatoes. 93% of Google users like this TV show. P- Valley has a total of eight episodes in the first season.

The show is about employees working at a strip club. Punk is the virtual city of Chucalissa, Mississippi. The story revolves around a dancer, Mercedes, and Uncle Clifford, the club’s owner.

P- Valley is nominated for Gotham Independent Film Award for Breakthrough series Long form. The official trailer was out on 22 June 2020 which has 80621 views. The show has a killer soundtrack and outstanding actors.

Two enemies find themselves trapped together under unexpected circumstances. Episode six comes with new bonds formed as everyone fight to secure their future. Andre has to face pushback in a deal with Kyle’s brothers.

Pink family comes together to prepare for their biggest night while uncle Clifford goes to war for Chucalissa. In Murda Night/season finale, Autumn’s past catches up with her.

People from Atlanta come to Punk to see shining stars. It also shows that Mercedes has her last performance. The show is relatable, having bouncing beats with amazing dancers.

The first season got appreciated for its portrayal of black women and Social issues. K. Michelle in the event in Jan 2020 in New York revealed that she gave an audition for the main character of the show, Mercedes.

But got rejected and was heartbroken. “Brandee, who plays Mercedes, I auditioned for months for this part as Mercedes. And it was between me and her. My body wasn’t together. I had holes in me.” said Michelle. This is an amazing crime mystery drama.
