Impractical Jokers Season 9 Updates: As everyone knows that the American hidden camera reality show ‘Impractical Jokers’ has already been renewed for its ninth season.
But due to the global pandemic COVID, the production saw a long gap but now the production for the ninth season been resumed under the safety guidelines.
The new season will include 26 episodes and has been scheduled for its release on 4 February 2021. Earlier the show premiered for the first time on 15 December 2011 on truTV. Till now, 8 episodes with 205+ episodes have been premiered. A full-length feature film was also released theatrically on 21 February 2020.
The series stars Joe Gatto, James Murray, Brian Quinn, and Sal Vulcano. The show is produced by NorthSouth Productions and is directed by Peter Fowkes, P. J. Morrison, and Andrew Hood.

Image Source: truTV.comThe format of the cringe comedy show is quite simple. In every episode, many competitive dares are given to jokers, and based on their performance they either receive thumbs up or thumbs down.
In the end, the joker with the most thumbs down is declared as the loser and is given a punishment. The joker who loses is challenged by other jokers who have to perform everything as commanded by the other jokers in order to embarrass himself by engaging himself with unwitting members of the general public. The basic premise for the show is-“You refuse, You lose”.
In an interview, the Tenderloins stated that “We’re excited to continue growing the Impractical Jokers franchise with Warner Media,”. They continued saying, “We’re excited to use the word franchise.
Each new project or season, we are pushing ourselves to make it bigger, better, and funnier than the last. Thanks to our insanely loyal fans over the past year, we’ve really been able to stretch ourselves and have had a blast bringing projects to life, including our first feature film and a TV show filmed from our separate homes.”
