Valeria Season 2 Updates: Valeria is one of the highly-rated Spanish comedy-drama series from Netflix which premiered on 8 May 2020. Keeping the success of the first season in mind, Netflix announced the renewal of the show for a second season on June 12, 2020.

On Instagram, they confirmed the renewal by writing “We can confirm that we’ve been caught, and there will be a second season of Valeria,” in Spanish.

The 8 x 40, episodes are available to watch on Netflix. The series is based on a book titled En Los Zapatos de Valeria by Elísabet Benavent.

What can be the expected plot for season 2?

There are many loose ends left in the previous season that’s needed to be connected and can be the primary premise for the upcoming season. Like much romantic comedy series, Valeria is also about a love triangle.

Valeria’s dream to become a published author hardly gets any support from her husband, Adri. The story unfolds with the entry of Victor who not only helps Valeria to complete her dream of becoming an author but also with her blood racing. The series also brings us the adventures of Carmen, Lola, and Narea.

Throughout the season fans are kept engaged in choosing between team Adri and team Victor but the only thing which remained constant is Fans wishing to see Valeria complete writing her book.

At the end of the previous season, Valeria gets a shock of her life when she was asked to agree to publish her book under the pen name of an already famous romantic novel series.

Now fans are left with two questions- Will Valeria choose Victor over Adri in the end? And will she agree to the conditions of her publisher of publishing her book under other novel series or choose to search for another publisher?

As there are 5 books in the novel series which is the primary source for the series, fans could expect more than 2 seasons for the show.

Who is in the expected cast of Valeria season 2?

The cast of the comedy-drama series is heavily female-driven as we witness the story of 4 best friends: Valeria(Diana Gómez), Lola(Silma López), Carmen(Paula Malia), and Nerea(Teresa Riott). The series also stars Maxi Iglesias as Víctor, Ibrahim Al Shami as Adrián. We might be introduced to some new characters in the upcoming season.
