As reported by Illuminerdi, a new casting of 4 new characters will be soon done by the casting directors. It is also known that 3 out of 4 characters will be women. As the resources suggest, the casting directors are looking for a person of color for these roles.

The information known about the first character is of playing the role of co-lead, naming Riley. It is not yet confirmed whether Riley will be a Jedi or not but, it has to be a person who can keep up with Obi-Wan. But no further details are known about the rest of the 3 characters.

As the rumors suggest, three actresses got callbacks for the role of Riley- Naomi Scott, Thuso M Bedu, and Anula Navlekar. Naomi is not unknown to the casting directors, because of her leading roles in Alladin Live Action and in the 2019 Charlies Angles movie. So, Naomi is most expected. Well, it will be a pleasure for the one getting this role, after all, who doesn’t want to work for a series like star wars!
