The Serpent Updates: The Serpent is a serial killer series that shifted from Asia to the U.K. due to the coronavirus lockdown.

The Serpent is relocating from Thailand to London due to the COVID -19 pandemic. The series got paused for five months. So the team management decided for the further development and production relocation from Asia to Europe.

After fifth months of pause, the series shifted to the U.K. in Hertfordshire, located in London. The shooting took place only ten days, including all the remaining scenes that will get filmed in Thailand in March.

Further, the executive producer Preethi Mavahalli said that it was hard work and the creativity of the Serpent team, cast, and other crew members so that they would be able to make it safely to the U.K. with a fantastic story.

According to the producer that the shooting took place with the safety measures of COVID-19. There was a COVID -19 supervisors present on the set. The rest of the scenes will get filmed in Thailand.

The writer Richard Warlow and Toby Finlay told that the eight parts are all about real incidents and features all about Sobhraj getting caught and brought before justice.

It is a crime drama following a Dutch Embassy’s junior diplomat and takes place in Bangkok. It leads him to follow the murderer of the Asian Hippie Trial.

Well, fans are so much eagerly waiting for the crime drama series. So the team management is all set to run out the series. It will get premiered on the network of BBC iPlayer and BBC in 2021 in the U.K. After that, it will get premiered all over the world on Netflix.
