Van Helsing Season 5 Update: The fifth season of Van Helsing got delayed, and everyone is aware of the obvious reason but don’t you worry as here we bring every minute details you need to know about the show.
As we all know that the fifth season will bring the termination to the show, the expectations from the last season are quite high that the hit apocalypse will put an end with a perfect closure to fans. Jonathan Lloyd Walker, who took over from Neil Labute in season 4 took over his Twitter handle to confirm that production for the fifth season has been wrapped.
The tweet reads “Entering our last week on #VanHelsing I must say thank-you to a group seldom thought about at season/series wrap. Family. Partners, kids, friends… all endure a lot of stress, separation, and extra work supporting cast/crew through long hours & days. YOU make the dream possible.”
On behalf of Dynamic Television, Daniel March, a managing partner of the show also confirmed the news of the renewal of the show
The earlier schedule for the release of the fifth season was always in 2020. Though the shooting and production got delayed due to the outbreak of global pandemic COVID-19, still the makers are planning to drop the new season in winters, possibly in November or December. As the exact date for release has not been revealed yet, once it is announced we will update you sooner.
The primary story of the fictional supernatural show ‘Van Helsing’ primarily revolves around a world where Vampires are completely dominating and humans are just trying to survive. The story develops with the rise of Vanessa van Helsing (Kelly Overton), a woman with unique abilities that help her combat and even cure vampires.
Taking the previous season into consideration, Vanessa is no longer the only one with unique vampire curing abilities as Violet (Keeya King) and Jack (Nicole Munoz) joins her in the fight against vampires after the genetically driven experiment by Wilhelm (Neil McDonough).
Kelly Overton leads the cast of Van Helsing and plays the role of Vanessa van Helsing. The series also stars Jonathan Scarfe as Axel, Tricia Helfer as Dracula, Nicole Munoz as Jack, Keeya King as Violet, and Aleks Paunovic as Julius.
Season 5 will introduce Kim Coates (Sons of Anarchy), Ali Liebert (Bomb Girls), and Steve Bacic (Andromeda) to us.
Sadly, no trailer has been released for season 5 till now.
