The Expanse Season 6 Update: The popular sci-fi drama ‘The Expanse’ is heading towards its sixth and final season. This was confirmed by Amazon Studios just before the end of the fifth season.
Reports suggest that Cas Anvar will not be seen in the final season after facing a slew of sexual misconduct allegations during the last season. But others including Steven Strait and showrunner Naren Shankar are confirmed to be n the project.
Season 5 of the show will release on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories. The production of the sixth season will begin on 20 January 2021.
The Expanse Season 6: Plot
The Expanse is based on James S.A. Corey’s best-selling novels. It is set in the future world where humanity has colonized and the solar system, the people of Earth, Mars, and the Asteroid Belt hated and opposed each other. It is a high-action, sci-fi adventure that explores the depth of humanity against the far-spanning reaches of the known universe.

Ever since the first season of the show released years back, till this sixth and final season, the crew and cast involved in the show have worked hard to honor the vision of the writers. This was appreciated by Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson, who has been associated with The Expanse right since its inception. It is a Hugo Award-winning series that was developed and scripted by Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby. It is produced by Alcon Television Group. An independent investigation was launched after lead Anvar faced many accusations of sexual harassment and sexual assault resulting in which he was dropped from the show.

The Release Date of Expanse Season 6
The Expanse Season Five will stream from December 16 consisting of three episodes. From February 3 onwards, the show is set for a weekly release on the OTT Platform.
