The series which tells the story of an alternate history space-race was one of the main series of Apple TV+ when the streaming platform launched last year. Apple TV+ very recently announced that the second season of For All Mankind will release super soon and also dropped off a trailer for the same.

The show is created by Ronald D. Moore and is a sci-fi series with a very interesting concept that imagines what would have happened if the global space race had never finished. It is set in an alternate timeline where the USSR beat the USA to reach the Moon first and it appreciates the efforts of those who were working at NASA and challenged the Soviet Union one more time.
From the post-credits scene in the Season 1 finale, we got to know that For All Mankind Season 2 will surely pick up in the year 1983and dwell into this new version of space exploration history. It has been reported that they had shot eight of the ten episodes of season 2 before the work was suspended due to the Covid 19 pandemic.

The second season of For all Mankind will stream on the Apple TV+ from February 19, 2021. Season two comprises of ten episodes and would be releasing one episode per week instead of the binge-release. Thus one episode comes on February 19, then one on the next Friday. The reason for such a release format is that it will hopefully increase the longevity of the show For All Mankind.
