Queen of the South Season 5 Updates: Fans are eager to find out what happened to Teresa Mendoza (played by Alice Braga) as she is expected to meet a group of Russians who are determined to see her drug business fail.
Teresa will have to prove her worth by trying to ruin everything she has worked so hard for. The queen of Southern fans will also be hoping to find out what happened to James Valdez (Peter Gadiot) after Teresa found him injured.
Laughing at the fans for what to expect, Alice shared her video in preparation for further setup. In the video, she is seen looking in the mirror as she finds her clothes for the fourth episode.

The video behind the scenes came after Alice shared a photo of her meeting with James. Actor Peter arrived in New Orleans earlier this month to return to filming after Covid-19 took part in the show.
Alice shared Peter’s summary suggesting they will work together and he will recover from his injury from season four. It is unclear what role James will play in the fifth season but his return suggests that his former employer, drug actress Camila Vargas (Veronica Falcón) could return.

It looks like James will be stuck for a while as senior producer Dailyily Rodriguez confirmed earlier this month that he would not be killed.
Peter first appeared as James the second time he was seen cleaning the body of drug lord Aveline (Caitlin Leahy) who had swallowed bags of cocaine.
Speaking about why his presentation to the fans was “complete,” Peter explained: “The second time you see him wash the blood off his hands and he’s in the process of thinking.”
