Avenue 5 Season 2 Update: HBO’s new sci-fi series named Avenue 5 has new updates regarding its upcoming season. Created by Armando Iannucci and the producer of the comedy being Steve Clark- Hall, 1 storyline of the show revolves around the life of the crew members of a spaceship named Avenue 5.

The story goes on to show that after going through some malfunction, the spaceship has now been stuck out of Earth and will take three years to make it’s return possible.

The sci-fi show stars Hugh Laury and Josh Gad in the main leading roles with its very first season dropping on HBO Max at the start of the year on January 19th, 2020, and completed airing on March 15th, 2020.

Now the sci-fi fans are excited to know has the show been renewed for a second season and if yes, what are the updates.

His show was officially confirmed for renewal by HBO even before the finale of the first season even aired. The immense confidence that the HBO network had shown on the show finally paid off with its first season receiving a lot of love and support from the fans of the show. It also earned great ratings from various websites. Therefore, a second season was not unexpected which is now been officially confirmed.

With the circumstances created by the Coronavirus pandemic, as per sources, the production of the second season of Avenue 5 is facing some delays like the other shows. Though there has been no confirmed date regarding the release of season 2, we can expect it to drop sometime in the next year which is 2021.
