The 355 Update: The newly released photo gives a new look to Jessica Chastain’s character, Mason Brown, on The 355. A movie from Universal Pictures is an exciting next entry into the genre of spies. Following films like Ocean’s 8, it engages many Hollywood actors in a women-led adventure. Chastain’s Mason (or “Mace”) is a CIA lawyer who joins forces around the world to spy on a secret weapon.
Black Panther actress Lupita Nyong’o will play Khadijah on the M16, while Diane Kruger and Penélope Cruz will play Marie and Graciela, respectively. Fan Bingbing, Sebastian Stan, and Édgar Ramírez also have roles. In addition to acting, Chastain proposed the idea of The 355 and also produced a film.
The 355 Update
Currently, 355 is expected to be released on January 15, 2021, or that could change depending on the coronavirus epidemic. In October, a movie trailer came out, with some of the actors highlighting the film soon.
For example, Stan took a moment to express his belief that The 355 women could better imitate his character The Falcon and Soldier character Bucky Barnes in the event of that happening. In New York Comic Con, Chastain explained the meaning of the title of the film, revealing that it was the code name for the first American women’s spy, although her real name is unknown.
As the planned 355 release approaches, a new photo from Total Film magazine shows Chastain’s character running around with a gun in his hand. It looks like a marina of some sort, where many movie sequences can be created.
While the new image does not reveal new details about The 355, it does give a good look at Chastain’s Mace. Parts of the film action are one of the most exciting. This picture shows that 355 will not escape from the scenes, the cornerstone of any spy movie. One disappointing part of the picture is Mace’s wardrobe, especially her heels.
Action movies have long been criticized for showing women running around in obsolete shoes, even though that makes no sense. Of course, without context, it’s hard to complain about that too much. There may be a fairly detailed description of Chastain’s appearance in the picture.
In all, 355 made an exciting film. Although women-led movies are moving slowly, it is interesting to see that one has many different women in important roles. Chastain’s role behind the scenes is also a very significant part of the film that should only enhance its overall quality. The actor has proven himself to be a major force in the change in Hollywood, and The 355 shows that.
