Tehran Episode 6 Review: How Milad will be saved?

Tehran Episode 6 Review: Things have grown a lot in ‘Tehran’. In the previous episode, we saw Massoud (Navid Neghaban) shot by Mossad’s lawyers as he knows best.

Frustrated Faraz Kamali (Shaun Toub) feared his wife who is now in the hands of agents. He finds himself in trouble as he has been suspended from his job for allowing Massoud to leave.

Desiring to find peace of mind, Faraz decides to take matters into his own hands and pursue Tamar permanently. So he grabs Aarezoo (Esti Yerushalmi) and forces her to call Tamar’s father. The episode ends with a bad text: Faraz meets Tamar’s father in Istanbul under false pretense and closes.

At the moment, Tamar himself is not doing very well. At first, all goes well with Milad, and the two are unable to keep their hands close, likely to interfere with Tamar’s real career in Tehran.

While cooking for Milad, she remembers the food her parents used to make. Reluctant to reveal much, he made another lie.

This is Tamar who is very close to getting into her past mysterious stories – the past that is always found in connection with her uncertain time.

However, Milad (Shervin Alenabi) gives him comfort and they both raise their toast during their time together. However, Tamar’s friend Kareem shuts up Tamar and realizes that she is not who he claims to be and reveals the real identity of Zhila – the woman Tamar pretends to be.

A fight breaks out between the two as Kareem holds a knife and Tamar points a gun at him. Unfortunately for Kareem, Mossad’s staff were locked up before, and before Tamar did anything, Kareem’s fate was sealed.

Tamar urges the envoys not to kill Milad because he “still needs her” for his intentions. Milad doesn’t have much to say after this and he keeps coming back scared as he sees the girl he loves fighting for her to turn into a woman who could just have murder in her hands.

At the end of the episode, the agents take Milad and hold him as he knows best while the tired Tamar thinks about the job and struggles to collect his intelligence. Love has been beaten to death and there is only one purpose to be done – was it right?

The episode looked awkward at first but suddenly took a turn for the worse with Kareem’s entry and unwelcome exit. While it was great to see Tamar’s family finally appear, it would have been much better if the show had been so long for Tamar to find himself in Tehran, his hometown.

An emotionally charged episode certainly raises questions about Tamar’s future in Tehran whether or not you have it at all. What will happen to Milad and Tamar can save him? ‘Tehran’ is broadcast on Apple TV +.
