Mateo Gil’s ‘The Minions of Midas’ also known as `Los Favoritos de Midas` in Spanish is based on the short stories written by Jack London and published in 1901. In the present-day world, this Spanish suspense drama revolves around the protagonist who appears to be a high-class rich businessman who is an influential and dominant personality in the business world.

The story is about how he starts receiving threats and blackmails for an unknown reason, asking him a huge amount of money. The threats are received from an organization called Minions of Midas who plan to take a life in Madrid every time the protagonist refuses.

The series was filled with suspense and thrills and managed to attract a vast audience in the first season. Let’s see will the well-liked series be renewed for a second season.

The Minions of Midas Season 2: Release Date

The first season of the political thriller, The Minions of Midas made its debut on Netflix recently on November 13th, 2020. A second season of the show seems like an event that is very unlikely to happen because the first season of the series compromised of six episodes which were more than enough to cover the century-old book that it is based on. Also, the series has been imagined to be a limited event so The Minions of Midas Season 2 does not seem like a possible event as of now.
