The Series renewal is still in the debatable stage. We are yet to see a Season 2 for Memories of the Alhambra. Hence, fans are getting anxious about the sequel’s arrival, and are anticipating that creators of the K-drama series would be currently working on the sequel’s script.

One of the ardent fans conversed with a Netflix representative and subsequently filed a petition. This petition was started to make Netflix’s officials aware of the demand for the sequel of Memories of Alhambra.

The petitioner even mentioned that the series restored the reputation of a hero, and gave justice to all the characters like Soo-jin, apparently abused by Professor Cha in the entire series.

Although the sequel is yet to receive a green signal from the makers, we expect it to have the original star cast to spread the magic. The main cast includes-

  • Hyun Bin playing as Yoo Jin-woo, the CEO of the investment company, J One Holdings, and aces in developing games.

 

  • Park Shin-Hye playing as Jung Hee- Joo aka Emma. She portrays the role of the hotel, Bonita’s owner. Although she possesses great artistic sensibility but has absolute zero financial sense.

It will receive a green signal for a sequel as it has won several accolades. In Thailand, The series broadcasted on Channel 7. However, in Asia and other English speaking territories, it aired on the Netflix platform, but just an hour after its premiere in Korea.

The 14th episode of the Season 1 received the highest, 10.025 percent audience share, throughout the nation, thus making it one of the famous ones in Korean’s cable history.

Thus, giving great potential for the sequel’s arrival. So, we hope creators won’t end this beautiful project.
