Evil Season 2: Theory suggests the roots of Kristen’s malice

Published by

Evil Season 2 Updates: Voot’s (now also available on Netflix) drama series ‘Evil’ follows a cynical psychologist who joins hands with a priest in training and a contractor after witnessing some unexplained supernatural events.

It dives deep into the question that whether supernatural events can be explained scientifically.

On Evil Season 1, our lead protagonist Kristen Bouchard after getting together with David Acosta and Ben Shakir saw lots of supernatural villains.

In any case, an unforeseen character may have played a considerably important role in Kristen’s life than we suspected, and it could majorly affect her descending path in Season 2.

Spoilers ahead for Evil Season 1.

On Evil, it isn’t supernatural that is viewed as awful, but it is the sin that rots in individuals’ souls and psyches is what pushes them to do horrible acts.

Kristen has consistently strived to be in favor of good, helping individuals through their darkest minutes while working through her own issues. Image Source: Inverse

Her tensions regularly show during night dread, where she is visited by George, an evil spirit stuck on preying on her deepest fears and driving her over the edge.

In the very first episode of Evil Season 1, Kristen didn’t start encountering night fear until that terrible episode with Orson Leroux, a killer-rapist attempting to sidestep his charges by faking he was controlled by a devil.

During an interrogation, Orson actually assaulted her and left red wounds around Kristen’s wrist. This event shook her up and it was soon after that she started having nightmares for George and his devilish red eyes.

Evil Season 2 Predictions

With the disclosure that Orson may have contributed to her demonic possession, Kristen may go down a bad path in Season 2. Maybe he considers her cynicism to be a test for the supernatural.

At last, Kristen may attempt to conceal Orson’s demise or reject that her slaughtering him was the aftereffect of a possession.

In any case, Kristen has been set apart in a greater number of ways than one, and Season 2 could at long last investigate what that implies for her pushing ahead.

Evil Season 1 is available for streaming on Netflix and Voot.
