Pieces of Her Updates: Pieces of Her is a coming Netflix drama thriller series created by Homeland’s Charlotte Stoudt and Lesli Linka Glatter. All episodes of the first season will be directed by Minkie Spiro (director of Downton Abbey, Better Call Saul).

Netflix’s Pieces of Her is a transformation of the novel of the same name by author Karin Slaughter who is likewise a producer on the series. The production organization behind the show is Papandrea’s Made Up Stories.

What’s the Plot of Pieces of Her?

Pieces of Her follows the narrative of Andrea who is trapped in a devastating mass shooting at a neighborhood cafe. Minutes after the fact, she observes her mom Laura, viciously taking control effortlessly.

As Andrea unwinds her mom’s activities on that very day, her point of view on their whole familial relationship goes in a different direction.

Before long, she figures her mom’s past return and she is compelled to getaway. While on the run, she endeavors to bring together the remainders of truth that her mom covered long ago.

The three main cast members from shows have been announced all through the previous months. Primetime Emmy and Golden Globes champ Toni Collette will play Laura Oliver, the mother with a baffling past.

On the surface, Laura is depicted as “apparently the ideal Southern lady, given to her work as a speech pathologist and to her offended girl, Andy.”

Bella Heathcote, known for her parts in Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle and The Neon Demon, will play Andy Oliver, Laura’s girl who leaves on a path to find her mom’s past. Heathcote’s job is depicted as “a school dropout living in her mom’s carport condo, random and the direct inverse of her mom.”

Season 1 of the show will have eight one-hour episodes which is the standard length for a Netflix season.

When will the show be on Netflix?

Pieces of Her will release at some point between late 2021 and mid-2022. The official date is not confirmed yet.
