Dave Season 2 Update: FXX Network’s most-watched comedy series ever, Dave, is coming back with a second season. Dave is the joint creation of Jeff Schaffer and Lil Dicky. You might be knowing about Lil Dicky but let me say it again. He is a rapper-comedian and the role of the main protagonist of the story is portrayed by Dicky while he is also involved in music composition and executive production.

The second season of the series will consist of the same prominent cast members.

Lil Dicky plays Dave Burd (basically himself)
Taylor Misiak plays Ally, Dave’s girlfriend and a teacher
GaTa plays hype man i. e, himself
Andrew Santino plays Mike, the roommate, and manger of Dave
Travis Bennett aka Taco plays Elliot or Eza, who is a DJ and friend of Davis
Christine Ko plays Emma, a graphic designer and friend cum roommate of Ally

Plot: Dave Season 2

The story is something very close to the reality of Lil Dicky’s life but still fiction. We follow a fictional Lil Dicky in the series as he strives to become an all-time rapper. But the things do not go as he wanted and forced him to give up his dream. Dicky then creates an infamous comedy-drama about himself being the greatest rappers of all the time.

When can we get the release date?

The release date for the second season of Dave is yet to be announced by the network and showrunners. However, the information about the renewal was made public on 11 May 2020. The first season premiered on 4 March 2020 had a total of ten episodes. For the time being FXX has hinted that we might get Dave Season 2 sometime in 2021.
