Chicago P.D. Season 8: Will Nicole Ari Parker Debuts as Deputy?

Chicago P.D. Season 8 Updates: After the global protests taking place all over the world as a result of the brutality and racism shown by the police in the unjust death of George Floyd, we can definitely expect a change in the show Chicago P.D. along with the change coming over the world.

As the new photos from Chicago P.D. Season 8 premiere have surfaced on the internet, the fans have noticed that a new face can be seen amidst the familiar ones.

The new face is of Deputy Superintendent Samantha Miller which is going to be played by Nicole Ari Parker.

Except for these changes, the show looks exactly like the everyday fan-favorite Chicago P.D. if we ignore the face coverings at times due to the ongoing pandemic times as it has become a part of our everyday life more or less.

We will again witness Upton (played by Tracy Spiridakos) working along with the team after traveling to New York to finish some work with the FBI team in the Season 7 ending.

Though it is sure that we will see a new face this upcoming season premiere but there are a lot of questions to which we do not have answers yet. After season 7 of Chicago P.D. left with a lot of questions in our mind, we are expecting that this upcoming ninth season of the show will surely hold answers to that.

Since, as of now, we have no clues regarding a lot of things, we cannot be certain what the future has in store for Upton and the question of her partnering with Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) remains one of the uncertain events of the show.

Also, after Atwater’s ( played by LaRoyce Hawkins) conversation regarding internal affairs with the cop who appeared to be a real believer in racism, we don’t know how well they deal with all the trouble that is to come with friends and family.

Also, fans are eager to see exes Burgess (played by Marina Squerciati) and Ruzek (played by Patrick John Flueger) deal with the unfortunate miscarriage that took place and affected both of them rather than deeply.
