Blue Bloods is an American police procedural crime drama television series that airs on CBS which is created by Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess.
Its main characters are the members of the fictional Reagan family which stars Tom Selleck as New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan also other main casts include Bridget Moynahan, Donnie Wahlberg, Len Cariou, Tom Seller, Jennifer Esposito, Sami Gayle, Vanessa Ray, Marisa Ramirez, and Will Estes also Amy Carlson.
The show which is produced by Fred Keller and David Barrett is mostly filmed in New York City with occasional reference to suburbs. This series was originally released on September 24, 2010, with airing on Friday following CS/NY before being moved to Wednesday at 10:00 pm Eastern and Pacific timing and at 9:00 pm Central and mountain time and has 42-44 minutes.
Blue Bloods Season 11: Update
When Blue Blood begins its 11th season look for an extra seat at the Sunday dinner table. After receiving a match for an unknown first cousin that is from a DNA network, Sean Reagan tries to find out who this mystery person might be by doing some detective work.
Frank is requested by the woman named Paula Hill (bonnie Somerville) who wants to transfer her son (Will Hochman) who is a detective in firearms, to a much safer assignment and is just revealed grandson Frank Reagan who is a police commission. Young Joe also wears the badge and is embraced by his newly found family is what happened in the last season and now what is the question in front of the viewers.
Executive producer Kevin Wade has said that it is best for him to have a great grandfather and who was also a police commissioner and one uncle who is a famous NYPD detective and an aunt who’s up high up in the district attorney’s office and another uncle who’s an NYSD sergeant. Also added that it would completely change how everyone he had worked with related to him when they look at him.
Donnie Wahlberg who is Joe’s uncle Danny is so happy for the company and said that he likes having more people at the dinner table.
