Stand By Me Doraemon 2: Two guest cast members to be added to the CG anime film.

Stand By Me Doraemon 2 Updates: On Wednesday, Stand By Me Doraemon 2 staff announced that the CG animated film’s fans will be seeing two new faces of the new guest cast members.

Comedian Hidetomo Masuno popularly known as Bakarhythm will be playing the role of a future department store’s salesman responsible for the gadgets Doraemon receives from the future. There will also be a new voice behind the substitution rope a gadget Doraemon receives from the future department stores.

Stand By Me Doraemon 2: Release Date

The original date for the release of the movie was August 7 2020 but was unfortunately delayed due to the inevitable Coronavirus pandemic. The present opening date for the film in Japan is November 20, 2020.

Stand By Me Doraemon 2: Cast

Satoshi Tsumabuki as adult Nobita again,

Nobuko Miyamoto as Nobita’s grandmother. Also, the regulars of the franchise, Wasabi Mizuta, Megumi Oohara, Yumi Kakazu, Subaru Kimura Tomokazu Seki will be seen as Doraemon, Nobita (child), Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo, respectively.

The script for the sequel of Stand By Me Doraemon will once again be written by Takashi Yamazaki and directed by Ryūishi Yagi and Takashi Yamazaki just like the first part and the film’s theme song titled ‘Migi’( rainbow)will be performed by Masaki Suda.

The first Stand 3d CG film, By Me Doraemon, performed exceptionally well earning the franchise 8.38 Billion Yen (77.16 Million Dollars) in Japan itself and worldwide 10 Billion Yen ( 90 Million Dollars).

Based largely on the Doraemon franchise’s Doraemon: Obāchan no Omoide ( Doraemon: A Grandmother’s Recollections) released in 2000. This film does not lack the original elements such as Shizuka and Nobita’s love story which was also previously seen in the first part of the CG animated film Stand By Me Doraemon.

Also another film from the franchise, a completely separate 2d animation film which was titled Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Shin Kyoryū ( Doraemon New Movie: Nobita’s New Dinosaur) released five months after it’s slated opening March 6 2020 date on August 20 2020 due to the inevitable pandemic created by the coronavirus.
