DuckTales Season 3: Darkwing Duck Will Return in Season 3’s Special Event

DuckTales Season 3 Updates: Our favorite superhero, Darkwing Duck returns for an hour-long Ducktales event. The DuckTales reboot is going to return for its third season on Disney XD this coming September.

The announcement of Darkwing Duck’s triumphant return came courtesy of Co-ExFrank Angones through social media. He’s the Executive Producer, Writer, and Story Editor for the show.

As you have seen by the bold announcement, one among these new episodes is going to be an hour-long featuring Darkwing Duck who over the years has gone on to become one of the leading characters within the entire series.

Who’s Darkwing Duck?

Darkwing Duck is a fan-favorite vigilante from Duck Tales. This super-heroic alter-ego of an ordinary suburban duck Drake Mallard struggles to balance his egotistical hunt for fame and a spotlight against his desire to be an honest father to his adopted daughter Gosalyn and help the city of St. Canard.

The standalone series first ran from 1991 to 1992 for a complete ninety-one episodes. Voiced by Jim Cummings, the character has become something of a cult leader since his introduction. It was because of this he was included within the upcoming series of Ducktales.

What’s More, We know about DuckTales Season 3

Along with the return of Darkwing Duck, Angones also teased what fans can expect from the new Ducktales episodes saying,

“Magical feuds. Alien rampages. Monstrous secrets. Villainous resurrections. Let’s Get Dangerous.”

Along with all the photos, he also shared a list of episode titles and their release dates. It was here that he confirmed that the October 19 episode is going to be an hour-long and will include Darkwing Duck.

The episode titles are as follows:

9/21: “The Phantom and therefore the Sorceress!”
9/28: “They Put a Moonlander on the Earth!”
10/5: “The Trickening!”
10/12: “The Forbidden Fountain of the Everglades!”
10/19: “Let’s Get Dangerous!”
10/26: “Escape From the Impossible!”

This rebooted combat Disney’s DuckTales has been quite a popular title for Disney since it launched back in 2017. After the third season of the series, there was a break back in May.

It’s similar to the original show, following the ludicrous rick  Scrooge McDuck and his three nephews.
