Year of the Rabbit series 2 Updates: The star of Truth Seekers, Susan Vokoma has updated the fans with disappointing yet hopeful news on Year of the Rabbit season 2. Led by the amazing and talented Matt Berry, Year of the Rabbit is a Victorian detective comedy that successfully released it’s first season and was also renewed in February 2020 by Channel Four for another six episodes.

Like the other shows and series, the production of this series was also held back by the global Coronavirus pandemic. The star Susan Vokoma who plays the character of Sergeant Mabel Wisbech on Year of the Rabbit talked about the restart of the project. She revealed that until and unless they can have a get together of Berry, her co-star Freddie Fox and herself, the project will not make any progress and thus remain on hold.

Year of the Rabbit series 2 Updates

In an interview with Digital Spy, Susan Vokoma said that the show required the cast and crew to get together and also match their schedules. The show was supposed to start filming in the month of April but, like many others in now on hold. She also added that she is currently busy in the filming of the thing that she was supposed to be filming before the Year of the Rabbit but did not disclose the name yet.

However, the good news is that she gave the fans reassurance that the cast ate still into the filming of the second series and will resume when it is possible for them. The star told the fans about the WhatsApp group she, Freddie, and Matt share to keep making sure that the three of them want to still take part in the sequel of the Year of the Rabbit.

When the first announcement regarding the second series surface, Berry expressed how he was certainly looking forward to the Inspector Rabbit making a comeback on the screen, to battle against the past crimes. This rime, the Inspector Rabbit was supposed to deal with unearthly forces.

The Victorian detective drama, Year of the Rabbit airs on Channel 4. Also, Truth Seekers starring Nick Frost and Simon Pegg will be available on the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform from October 30, 2020.
