Sweet Magnolias is a television series about American love, produced by Sheryl J. Anderson and based on the Sherryl Woods’ Sweet Magnolias novels books. The series aired on Netflix on May 19, 2020.
Sweet Magnolias follows three South Carolina women, best friends since childhood, as they are infants with the difficulties of love, work, and family.
The main filming of the first series began on July 8, 2019, in Covington, Georgia.
On September 27, 2018, it was announced that Netflix would offer production for the first season series consisting of ten episodes.

The series had a 78 percent approval rating based on nine updates, with an average rating of 6.17 / 10. In reviving the second season, Sheryl J. Anderson, the show’s creator said she was thrilled and very excited to be back with her favorite actors and fans.

Sheryl has confirmed that all the characters from Season 1 will be back in Season 2. But there will be some changes that will surprise even the most dedicated book fans,” she added.
