American Housewife Season 5 Updates: In the American Housewife Season 5 premiere Sneak-Peek, it has been confirmed that we will get to see a new face among the familiar ones in the Otto family.

With Julia Butters exiting the sitcom, American Housewife, at the end of the last aired Season 4, it seems that the Life in Pieces’ star Giselle Eisenberg is all set to take the role of the youngest daughter of Katie (played by Katy Mixon) and Greg’s (played by Diedrich Bader) in the Otto family.

We saw the ABC drama give us a look at the recast in a very cunning way in ET’s Sneak-Peek from the American Housewife Season 5.

Hidden behind the laptop screen, we catch a glimpse of Anna-Kat (Giselle Eisenberg) as her mother Katie tries to get her attention.

Not long after that, the youngest daughter of the Otto family comes out from behind the laptop screen as she stops her constant typing to talk enthusiastically about a sleep away camp she is super excited to go to.

There, Katie is very cunningly seen referring to the recasting of the young actress stating “Yeah, kids change” as she looks straight to the viewers through the camera. She further exclaims “Can you believe it, Anna-Kat is going to a sleep-away camp!”.

We then see Greg (Diedrich Barder) and Anna-Kat enthusiastically give each other a high-five as they talk about feminine hygiene products. As the scene is seen coming to an end, Katie takes the credit for the long way Anna-Kat has come that is from being the signature weirdo she is to now the transformed strong and confident young girl.

But is Anna-Kat really her if she loses her signature weirdo personality and has she really lost it? The viewers will soon find out when they get to lay eyes on the fifth season of the American sitcom television series `American Housewife’ as it will premiere on the streaming platform of ABC on Wednesday, October 28 at 8:30 pm ET/PT.
