CMT Music Awards: CMT Music Awards ceremony is held every year since 1967, then known as Music City News Awards. It showcases the most voted country music, music videos, and television performances.

Like every other time, CMT Music Awards 2020 took place in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. I will be giving you a detailed analysis of the ceremony along with this year’s list of winners under different categories.

CMT Music Awards Ceremony Details:

The ceremony held on 22 October featured Kane Brown, Ashley McBryde, and Sarah Hyland as host. The trio made the award show as entertaining as possible. There were several other celebs on hand to present, including Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, and Jessica Chastain.

The nominations were led by Sam Hunt, Luke Combs, Dan+Shay, Thomas Rhett, and Kelsea Ballerini. The mixed up and teamed as three at a time for the purpose.

• Female Video of the year Awards got swept by Ashley McBryde for One Night Standards.
• Best Female Singles were won by Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, Miranda Lambert for the songs Drinking Alone, I Hope, homecoming queen? The Bones, Bluebird respectively.
• Men Video of the Year Award was bagged by Jasen Aldean for Got What I Got.
• Best Men Singles were won by Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Sam Hunt, and Thomas Rhett for their respective works as One Margarita, Even Though I’m Leaving, Chasin’ You, Hard To Forget and Remember You Young.
• Group Video of the Year found its owners as Champagne Night (by Lady A), “Wine, Beer, Whiskey” (by Little Big Town), and Cheatin’ Songs (by Midland).
• Artist Winners were Old Dominion, The Chicks, and The High women for One Man Band, Gaslighter, and Crowded Table respectively.
• Duo Video of the Year went to All Night for the studio performance by Brothers Osborne.
• Artist winners were Florida Georgia Line for Blessings, Dan+ Shay for I Should Probably Go To Bed, Meddie & Tae for Die From A Broken Heart, and LOCASH for One Big Country Song.

You might think that I am exaggerating things but that is not it. The CMT Music Awards 2020 was worth watching, you don’t get to watch such stardom daily. Nashville was shining because of the stars present in the function.
