Willow Sequel: Jon M. Chu to bring back the Sequel on Disney+

Willow Sequel: Well fans, we have a great piece of news for you all. The enchanting and mesmerizing world of Willow which was created by George Lucas will now officially arrive on the small screen.

The Disney + has confirmed the sequel’s arrival, years after the original movie was released. But the production will start somewhere next year. Ron Howard is now returning as an executive producer along with the superstar Warwick Davis. Davis will be reprising his iconic role as Willow Ufgood.

Jon M. Chu famous for his contribution to Crazy Rich Asians and In the Heights has agreed to direct this series. While the showrunners would be Jonathan Kasdan and Wendy Mericle.

What to expect from the Willow series?

The official confirmation regarding the Sequel’s arrival was given by Disney + approximately a year after the project was first announced to arrive on a small screen.

The original Willow movie traces around Davis Willow, who is compelled to play a chief role. His role involves protecting a special baby named Elora Danan from an evil mastermind, queen.

As a kid he grew up in a Chinese restaurant who wishes to go to Hollywood, to fulfill his dream. In fact, this has resulted in him working with his heroes, Kathleen Kennedy to Ron Howard.

This movie is like fulfilling a bucket list for him. Jon and Wendy have included several new characters and also certain surprises to this timeless and epic story. And he is super excited and can’t wait for the world to witness the magic along with the audience.
