The Good Place Season 5: Not Likely To Be Made As Makers Want The Series Short

‘The Good Place’ has dropped four seasons until now. Though the fans of the show are waiting for the creators to drop the fifth season. However, it seems that the makers will not be releasing the fifth season. The creators want the show to be short and interesting. Here are all the details that we know about the show until now.

Recently, the fourth season of the show was released which made the fans of A Good Place excited and elated about the show. It was released on Netflix. Newsweek recently released in its report that the fourth season will be the last season of the show.

The makers want to end the show after canceling it back in June 2019. One of the creators previously mentioned that they do not wish to drag the story too long. They want to keep it short and crisp.

Will There season 5 of a Good Place?

The Good Place was last seen in September 2019 with its fourth season. The fans are expecting a new season since then. The creator of the show, Mike Schur mentioned during the debut of the show and said that they always planned to keep the show short. Hence, they called each part of the show as ‘chapter’ not ‘episodes’. They always wanted to portray them as chapters that come out individually.  

Mike Schur tweeted from the official handle of the show citing that the makers felt four seasons and fifty episodes to be the correct span for this show. Further, this was decided when the show was planned. However, he also mentioned how the makers sometimes felt like taking the show forward. However, it was only because the show is fulfilling and joyous. In the end, now they have decided that four seasons are enough for the show.

Did season 4 have a satisfactory ending?

The end of the last season satisfied most of the users. This was evident in the response given by the viewers on social media. In the finale episode, Soul Squad along with Michael came up with a new Good Place design. However, the details and design were not revealed.
