Monster Musume Season 2 Updates: Monster Musume is a manga series of Japanese origin with the writer and illustrator being Okayado.

The series first created hype, when it secured its place in the Monthly Comic Ryu in Japan by Tokuma Shouten. While Seven Seas Entertainment took the responsibility of publishing the hit manga in the US.

When can we get the release date for Monster Musume Season 2?

The anime’s 1st season debuted on 6th July 2015 and wrapped up on 22nd September 2015. But, soon the audience went crazy over the series and are now waiting for a sequel to arrive anytime soon.

But, it has been nearly five years since Season 1’s finale, and the makers still haven’t released the release date of the sequel. However, the series is getting a renewal for sure.

So, we expect the sequel to arrive somewhere in 2021, owing to the shutdown of the entire production industry due to COVID-19.

What can be the possible plot

The story revolves around the struggle of a student, Kimihito Kurusu. He is in quite a dilemma after the declaration of the Interspecies Cultural Exchange Programm by the Government.

This exchange program provides an opportunity for all the mythical characters, such as harpies, mermaids, lamias to reside along with human beings.

While, on the other hand, Kurusu declines this exchange program opportunity, and goes to stay in his home. Well, this struggle was all that occurred in the 1st season, and would probably continue in the sequel as well.

The cast details for Monster Musume, Season 2

The fantasy series includes several mythical creatures, such as mermaids, harpies. Finding an anime with such a variation is quite a big thing, and the fans are going crazy over their super quality characters.

The super characters include the main protagonist who is Kimhito Kurusu, voiced by Junji Majima. 

Another intriguing character is the complement of Snake and human, Miia, Lamia, the voice given by Sora Amamiya. 

So, let’s wait for an official promo and official notification on when the production will start.
