She was won many awards like the Grammy award for the best American music award. She also produced music in the genre such as pop, R and D, and numerous genres of Spanish folk music. In 1995 she was murdered by Yolanda Saldivar.

He was a close friend of hers. Yolanda shot to the Selena through his gun. Yolanda was very guilty of his action towards Selena and he is currently in the prison.

He came out in March 2025 after serving a 30 years sentence. In this way, Selena Quintanilla takes her last breath in her life. This makes the audience get more curious and excited about the series.
