Minions 2 is one of the most anticipated 3D animated films with a genre of comedy that has got fans waiting for several years. As a renewal of 2015 hit movie Minions and spin-off to the original Despicable Me film series has got the official title of Minions: The Rise of Gru. The movie has been a massive hit among all age groups because of its fun and light-hearted style.

The movie was scheduled to be released in theatres in the US on the 3rd of July 2020 but due to the coronavirus outbreak, it got delayed to the 2nd of July next year. It caused a massive financial loss to the team and the entertainment industry.

The official Plot of Minions

The storyline of the sequel is kept under wrap to avoid trivial speculations and unnecessary rumors. But as per some sources, the second part will continue the movie from the ending of the first movie. The whole movie will revolve around Gru’s Voyage from being an ordinary villain to a supervillain.

Though the founder and CEO of Illumination Chriss Meledandari said that they will ensure the safety of their employees first and find a new release date for the movie. He is also the producer of Minions2 and the franchise of Despicable me.

Synopsis of the Minions 2

In continuation of the 2015 film, this time a 12-year-old boy felonious Gru is growing up in suburbs and is a fan of supervillain group Vicious 6, He planned to join the evil. As the Vicious 6 fire its leader, Gru urged to join them.

Instead, things get worse after he steals from them with the help of Stuart, Kevin, and Otto. They later find themselves turning to an unusual source for help, the former leader Wild Knuckles himself, and fighting off the bad guy with the help of their friends.
