Christmas On The Square Updates: Coming from the house of Netflix a recent announcement of a holiday special from nine-times Grammy winner Dolly Parton, which is also a movie musical.
Titled ‘Christmas On The Square’s this is a special treat served as a pre-Christmas bonus directed by Debbie Allen. The festive-mood booster, named after one of Parton’s songs released ahead of the news broadcast and will feature an exclusive collection of 14 soundtracks off her own album ‘A Holly Dolly Christmas’ marking it her first entitled album release in 30 years.
Parton took it to social media to share a sneak peek into its poster with the caption reading as
“#Christmas On The Square is more than just a song…… it’s also a musical!. Watch my newest movie directed by @msdebbieallen and starring Christine Baranski,@Jennifer Lewis, and so many others.
Apart from this Debbie Allen choreography off the story by Marie S.Schlatter, we also get access to the premium feature of 14 original songs by Parton in a nifty tie-in to her holiday album as she has taken upon herself to save the winter for us.
Apart from Parton herself, other faces that appear in the cast are Christine Baranski, Jeanie Mason, Josh Segarra, Mary Lane Haskell, Mary Donnelly Haskell, Jennifer Lewis, and Treat Williams.
