Ratched  Updates: Ratched an American psychological thriller, adapted from Ken Kesey’s 1962 novel “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Which completed its first season on Netflix and second going to be premiere on the same OTT platform.

Ryan Murphy’s thriller Ratched has officially taken one more step forward and picked up for a second season at Netflix, but how many seasons does Ratched plane? In an interview with Ratched co-creator and executive producer, Evan Romansky spilled the beans about the show’s trajectory.

Ratched’s co-creator speaks about the plan of multiple seasons…

With an interview with Decider, Romansky had made some clarifications about Murphy’s plan of hoping the show will span four seasons.

He said that “We plan that we are going to go past the two seasons.” He also said that ideally it is estimated about four seasons from his talks with Ryan Murphy he revealed about doing four seasons. Image Source: IndieWire

He also added that they have an arc of where they want to go with it. He also said that there are a lot more things to tell in the Mildred Ratched story. This Mildred Ratched character is not where she’s at in Cuckoo’s Nest and their goal is to push her every season.

Romansky has a general idea of where the show is going to in its four seasons, but season 2 has not been fleshed out yet. “We have had discussions,” he shared. He also said that they do not have a formal writer’s room yet.

The coronavirus pandemic has just made everything to put behind. So, the crew is still trying to navigate on this. And also, Ryan has recently got a lot of projects, so it still needs to figure out and knock a couple out. He also says that he is getting ready for an attack.
