Dancing With the Stars Recap: Did the Right Couple Go Home on ’80s Night?

Published by

Dancing With the Stars Recap: Nevertheless, Season 29 has not described themes every week — last Monday’s act, was an odd jumble of emotional practice and irregular sambas set to “Party in the U.S.A.” — the contesting series went all-in on this week’s ’80s pattern. The side ponytails! The bodysuits! The hairstyle on poor Gleb!

Slip-on those legs cozy and pull your best Scrunches out of space, because Dancing With the Stars is pulling us back to the ’80s.

But for one couple who will be terminated, ’80s Night was indistinct from absolute tubular. Before we see results, let us break down the evening’s performances:

Dancing With the Stars: Justina Machado and pro-Sasha Farber (Jazz):

Jazz practice is reasonably isolated on Dancing With the Stars, so it excited me that Justina, one of the season’s powerful performers, but so many of the combinations here were stunningly simple. Did Justina nail it anyway? I suspect yes.

Judges’ Score: 24/30

Jesse Metcalfe and pro-Sharna Burgess (Tango):

We all accept that Jesse has been on the tiny minded from Season 29 beginning, enhancing a small bit each week. And still, 5 weeks in, I’m surprised that judges are not bringing up regarding Jesse’s facial expressions, or lack thereof.

 Judges’ Score: 19/30.

Chrishell Stause and pro Gleb Savchenko (Cha-Cha):

Chrishell had a very sharp-minded between Weeks 1 and 2, then again between Weeks 2 and 3. I am not certain he is choreographing her in a way that shows her power or dares to perfect the steps; there is lots of fun filler, but it becomes less splendid when the core ballroom steps are all over the place.
