Altered Carbon: Star Hayley Law reveals reason behind the series Cancellation

Altered Carbon Updates: The past few months are difficult for the people, one reason is clearly the continuing pandemic, and therefore the other is the cancellation of a pile of popular web series by Netflix.

While there are other streaming platforms too who have suffered the loss, but the cancellation of Altered Carbon on Netflix gathered huge responses.

For those of you who don’t know, Altered Carbon is an American cyberpunk web series supported by the 2002 novel of the same title. The series has come back for two seasons, the primary season released on February 2, 2018, with 10 episodes and, also the second season premiered on February 27, 2020, with eight episodes. The series was praised for its amazing cast and unique plot twists.

Hayley Law, who played the role of Lizzie Elliot within the series, recently spoke about the cancellation of the series, and her role in the movie Spontaneous. It’s such a good fan base, I used to be sad too, but it is just nice that we were all kind of reasonably sad together because we put so much work into the show and it was absolutely great. It’s one of all my favorite things I have ever worked on, and, that I am so happy that I have to be compelled to be a part of it”.

Law also added, “Everything continues to be so uncertain, so I wasn’t holding my breath on anything getting renewed, because you never know what’s going on”. She continued, “And that’s such a huge, huge show.

It takes an entire village to place one scene together. But I am just happy that the folks like it, and I am glad that we got to shoot as much as we did. I would’ve been on that show for 40 seasons if I could. I loved it so much”.

The series materialized in a very futuristic metropolis known as Bay City. The society is transformed by new technology that permits consciousness to be digitized, making human bodies interchangeable, and death is not permanent.
