Margaret Nolan, Goldfinger who was A Hard Day’s Night actress, expires at 76. Actress Margaret Nolan, who arrived on screen with James Bond and the Beatles, died on Oct. 5. Born in Somerset, England, in 1943, Nolan started her profession as a fascinating model under the name Vicky Kennedy. Beside from acting, she was also a visual artist who frequently used pictures of herself in her occupation as exposition. Nolan had married to cinematographer and actor Tom Kempinski and they had two sons.

The English actor was best known for acting Bond’s stylist Dink in Goldfinger and for emerging as the gold-painted model in the 1964 film’s title series. Same year, she emerged in the Beatles’ musical comedy film A Hard Day’s Night. She also acted in numerous of movies from the Carry On franchise, the long-running British comedy film series. While most of her acting job was between the 1960s and 1980s, Nolan reappeared to the screen for 2011’s The Power of Three as Dame Margaret.

Edgar Wright, who cast Nolan in his upcoming film Last Night in Soho, wrote a salutation to the performer on Twitter.

“It’s my sorrowful job to announce that actress and artist, the spectacular Margaret Nolan has expired,” Wright tweeted on Sunday. “She was the centre of Venn diagram of everything cool in the 60’s; having popped with the Beatles, been past ideal in Bond and been part of the Carry On cast too.”
