Hocus Pocus 2 Updates: In October last year, multiple sources reported the news of Disney renewing Hocus Pocus for another season. The fans demanding the sequel should rest their case now. Here are all the details you need to know about the movie.

Bette Midler shared an Update

It is looking that The Sanderson sisters are back to steal the lives of children in Salem again. Disney still hasn’t confirmed the three main cast originally involved in the film yet but Bette Midler who portrayed the character of Winifred Sanderson told Entertainment Tonight that she’s down to reprise her iconic role in the sequel.

She added ”I can’t wait to fly!”

The star continued that ” We’re just talking logistics”
But we can surely make out that the witch is back.

What’s in the Hocus Pocus 2 and When will it drop?

Collider publishes in 2019 revealing that Hocus Pocus 2 is in development and already found its head writer. Jen D’Angelo, who has previously worked for Workaholics in writing the script for the sequel.
Jen has written various television shows such as Cougar Town and Happy together.

The sequel of Hocus Pocus will be made available on streaming service Disney+ which was launched on 12 Nov 2019. We predict the sequel of the movie will be dropped in the fall of 2021.

The most intriguing question is if Disney would bring the Sanderson sisters back? While Disney has not announced the full line cast of the movie, the original characters of the movie are willing to relive their roles on screen. Doug Jones who played Billy Butcherson once said that he would love to return if Hocus Pocus ever made its sequel.

Even Bette Midler highlighted the anticipation of all three Sanderson sisters to do the sequel of the film. The plot of the sequel has not unveiled yet but we might expect Jen to hook some strong material this time.
