Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 are back with and it’s going to be like a war zone. In a recent exclusive trailer for the most-awaited two-hour crossover premiere. The actresses of the respective shows- Jaina Lee Ortiz and Ellen Pompeo narrates about what the upcoming season will bring.

Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19: The Trailer

The premier trailer features the shots of both old and new events. We can see Pompeo and Ortiz saying

” It’s a war zone and we’re the ones on the front line. With all the lives in need, our world is ablaze. what we’re up against now is unlike anything that came before. At times it seems like there’s no end in sight. We won’t stop feeling.

Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19: The cast and their roles

We have seen Ellen Pompeo playing the role of Meredith Grey and in the latest Instagram post shared on 3 September. The actor flaunted her character with the caption- ”The same but different, Sandpaper hands coming to you soon..”

The ABC production drama was forcibly shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak with only four episodes left to shoot in the 16th season but on 17th September Pompeo shared a snap showing the resumption of the shoot.

In station 19, we have seen Jaina Lee Ortiz playing the role of Andy Herrera.

What the showrunner Krista Vernoff has to say!

The maker and executive producer of both the shows- Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19, Krista Vernoff revealed in an interview that at first, she didn’t want COVID to be the part of the show in any say since people are in exhaustion with the current situation and turn to the show for relief and entertainment.

She added that it could be one of the biggest medical stories of our lifetimes

She also confirmed that the season 17 premiere crossover will take place weeks into the pandemic. The episode will constitute pre and post-pandemic circumstances. They are using special lens camera to make characters appear standing close than they are.

The two-hour crossover will take place on November 12 with Station 19 airing at 8 p.m. ET and Grey’s Anatomy launching at 9 p.m. ET only on ABC.
