Selena: The Series Teaser mocks Curious Fans with Trailer and Release Date

Selena: The Series Updates: On Tuesday, Netflix revealed a release date and 2nd play for the extremely predict project, where — like all other Hollywood presentation — was enforced to pause filming due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Appearing Dec. 4, the musical series will chronicle Selena’s hike popularity alongside her family in their home state of Texas.

Selena: The Series: Also settled as a celebrity in the TV action are:

  1. Seidy López (“Training Day”) as her mother, Marcella Samora.
  2. Noemí González (“The Young and the Restless”) as her sister and drummer, Suzette Quintanilla.
  3. Gabriel Chavarria (“The Purge”) as her brother and music producer, A.B. Quintanilla III and,
  4. Ricardo Antonio Chavira (“Desperate Housewives”) as Selena’s father, Abraham Quintanilla Jr.

As per the casting director Carla Hool, Netflix made an idea to continue production on “Selena: The Series” at the end of September, later filming came to a sudden pause in March between the public health disaster. As the show shoots primarily in a studio, Hool explained, “Selena” is a “pretty contained” set and beneficial to the latest welfare compact.

“If you keep rehearsing, a bit soon, it will be paid off,” Selena’s father tones in the new trailer. “When I look at you on stage, I still watch the 6-year-old girl singing in our courtyard.”

The series, directing which produced by Selena’s family, truly anticipated to advent this fall.
