The Netflix show “Glow” has cancelled it’s 4th season, Know every detail here

Glow Season 4 Updates: Glow or Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling is a comedy-drama T.V series by Netflix. The plot revolves around a group of syndicated women involved in pro wrestling. Based on the 1980s L.A, the show has been nominated for 18 Emmys and it won 3 of them. It stars lead actress, Alison Brie as Ruth “Zoya the Destroya” Wilder and Betty Gilpin as Debbie “Liberty Belle” Eagan.

The show came to its conclusion in it’s fourth and final season, but it was inevitably halted due to production issues amidst COVID-19 complications.

A Netflix spokesperson said in a statement, “We’ve made the difficult decision not to do a fourth season of ‘GLOW’ due to COVID, which makes shooting this physically intimate show with its large ensemble cast especially challenging.

“He followed, “We are so grateful to creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, Jenji Kohan and all the writers, cast and crew for sharing this story about the incredible women of ‘GLOW’ with us and the world.” “COVID has killed actual humans.

It’s a national tragedy and should be our focus. COVID also apparently took down our show,” series creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch said in another statement.

In season 3, Debbie reveals to Ruth that Bash has bought a TV network that she will run as president. The show left off in a cliffhanger in the final episode where the women split up at the airport as they fly home for the holidays. One could only imagine where season 4 could’ve taken us.

The production for the 4th season began earlier this year but was forced to shut down early due to the pandemic. As the set demands all the lead actress to be in close proximity to each other enclosed in the ring, Netflix had no way but to call it quits.

The show had garnered quite a fan following and it’s a pity that the viewers won’t be seeing it get the closure it deserves. However, call it good news, some reports say that the prime cast and crew have been paid in advance for season 4.
