Fear the Walking Dead: All About Season 6 & Everything we know so far

Fear the Walking Dead is back in business with Season 6 in Austin, Texas, with the Season 6 premiere scheduled to air on Sunday evening. While new social distancing measures will be keeping cast members and staff apart from one another on set to ensure health and protection in a year where those have been more scarce commodities than earlier.

The plot of the show’s sixth season had the cast largely detached prior to closing off down in March. Season 6 of Fear the Walking Dead is going to be saying its story in an extraordinary format with each episode, concentrating on one character or one group of characters.

Debnam-Carey said “We’re really changing the tales this season, as we always do & I think each season we’re sort of attempting to find a different way to showcase this world and atmosphere. And this season in specific, I feel like we’re concentrating on individual characters more, in almost like film vignettes which are really cool.

Fear the Walking Dead: Season 6 Updates

Instead of having 40 characters in one episode and trying to fit them all in, we’re actually getting special characters, like a couple of personalities in each episode and really getting to discover them and focus on their goals and objectives and what they really want.”

Fans and cast units alike have shared their frustrations in the past about Walking Dead shows not expanding supporting characters as the numbers of cast members grew with the inevitable growth of the show. Fear the Walking Dead seems to be making an achievement to prevent such an issue with this new technique.

Debnam-Carey says “The entire season kind of put pieces together in a larger arc. Which I think is really fun and I prefer that because as an actor, you get to really then chomping at the bit, rather than sort of. Frequently when there’s a lot of characters in one circumstance, it gets a little like, ‘What’s happening? There’s so much going on.’ You can have time to really point on the character and create the dynamics and between different relationships and so that’s always really fun.”

The Walking Dead: World Beyond broadcasts on Sundays at 10 pm ET, following new episodes of Fear the Walking Dead at 9 pm ET. The Walking Dead will come back for 6 more episodes in Season 10 in the spring. The 11th and last ultimate season of The Walking Dead will begin airing in the Fall of 2021.
