This Is Us Season 5: Chris Sullivan on Toby and Kate not ending up together

This Is Us Season 5 Updates: Chris Sullivan has recently dropped a few hints. They are about the upcoming season, i.e., Season 5 of This Is Us. The previous running of the show terminated when there was a massive conflict between two of the three siblings of Big Three. Further, there were few headlines about the third sibling, Kate. The character is played by Chrissy Metz.

She decided to husband Toby played by Chris Sullivan and adopt a second child. The newlywed couple was in the parking lot of the hospital after paying a visit to NICU. It is where the former child was born.

They were filled with various emotions as they thought their decision of a second child might be taken out of an emotional rush. Don’t you think that the couple has full hands already?

The actor also said he loves how the writer of the show drops a beginning and an ending point in front of the viewers. Further, he joins those dots in the story.

This Is Us: What Did Chris Say?

Last year Entertainment Weekly asked Sullivan about the significance of sidewalk chalk that Toby was told to bring to Kevin’s house in one of the previous seasons. He said he still does not have any clue about it.

Sullivan mentioned how he keeps on forgetting to ask about its significance. He said how it is still a little mystery from the last two seasons. Chris cited that when he reaches the sets, he does not ask about the explanation of each action performed.

Sullivan also gave us an insight into why neither Kate nor Toby was present when the wife of Jack Jr. is giving birth. Sullivan said that might be Jack Jr, is in a different city and his sister lives in the same city.

However, Kate and Toby do not live in the same city. There are many factors to be taken into consideration. There is nothing too serious and too detailed about this situation.

Also, a two-hour-long premiere of Season 5 of This Is Us will drop on NBC on October 27, 2020, at 9 p.m.
